Carlton Custom Guitar Gallery 1
A showcase of the bespoke guitars that have been built here in my workshop. Specifications and impression of each instrument are included. Only the finest quality air dried tone-woods and top grade parts hand picked by myself are used. Guitars are built to an exacting set of specifications arrived at through a consultative process with the client. The methods I use are the same as were employed in the golden era of American guitar building during the early 1950's. I have no computer driven machinery here.
The guitars shown here date back to the earliest builds and all on this page were built at The Basin workshop.

which see plenty of time on demos of other products as well as the in live appearances.

Serial Numbers and Identifying marks
Serial numbers comprise the consecutive build number followed by a dash and the day month year in DDMMYY format IE: 28-010914 will be build number 28 began 1st September 2014. The serial number convention has been deviated from on several occaisions and if you have a query on your particular instrument please contact me.
