#26 Type EB [Bigsquire]- Sold
An Esquire type guitar with similar livery to the early 50's Blackguards. Peter wanted that 50's Esquire vibe but with an important additional element, the Bigsby B5.
We chose a Vibramate V5-TEV bridge and attachment plate. This allows the guitar to use either standard string through the body or Bigsby tail-piece. The Vibramate attachment plate sits under the Bigsby and comes right off the guitar once the end-pin screw is removed. The B5 bolts to mount pins welded onto the Vibramate tail plate and no holes need to be cut into the body.

The tone is typical Esquire with muscular twang and aggressive bite of the 50's lead pickup. The genuine Bigsby B5 has not added a very cool vibe and has nice solid feel. Tuning is very stable because of the locking tuners, roller string tree and Tusq nut.
