Hotrod Type T No. 004-270107
A one off purpose built guitar primarily designed for rock and blues but would suit a wide range of musical genres. It has a strong driving tone from the medium output stacked humbuckers.
Bridge pickup - a focused biting tone - cuts through like a machete Neck pickup - a sweet, warm and chimey tone - a big sound
I used it as my number 1 stage and demo guitar for around 8 months and enjoyed playing it a lot. It had a massive tone which sounded superb through the 5E3 clone I was using at the time. You could play just about any kind of music with it from rockabilly to hardcore. As far as I know it now resides in New Zealand. Unfortunately one photo only exists of the guitar. The body also has a serial# on a sticker under the F-hole #251005
