No.69-051219 Numbcaster
A copy of the proptotype built for Brett Kingman with the very smart look of Olympic White body and Tortoiseshell guard. Pickups are Mick Brierleys handwound Numbcaster set which to my ears are tonally as close as you will get to the legendary Gilmourish tones. Included is the discreet Seven Sounds switch which adds two new tones to the standard strat five way switch. All three pickups in parralel and the bridge and neck together. The bridge and middle pickups are wired to the back tone control while the front tone controls the neck pickup. Neck is finished in oil with a very sleek feel and ideal if you don't like the drag of a glossy poly or nitro finish.
The Brierley Numbcasters in my estimation are one of Mick Brierleys premier strat sets that make this guitar an excellent all rounder. Fabulous tones for Rock, Blues and any other genre where aggresive tones are to the fore. With tone wound off a little, smooth thick jazz tones are available.
