Astrocaster No. 62-290818 - Stingray
Custom designed mahogy chambered body with vintage style rosewood on maple neck. Smart retro styling and Brierley handwound pickup set, make this guitar an attractive and extremely versatile instrument. It is light to carry and very resonant with a tone as big as the Nullabor. The four way switchching adds the strangle tone to the bridge pickup. This switch position is a slight attenuation to both highs and lows which gives a nice mid range tone which is great for riffing or solos in a situation where the amp is breaking up into overdrive or distortion. The Brierley 52 bridge and P90 pickup combination has become a firm favourite allowing a very broad tonal palette
