My favourite guitar of all. It is the essence of electric guitar, the touchstone, the truth. Esquire, a lead and a small valve combo is as close to the truth as you can get. Few ever come to appreciate its raw power and it truly is its own thing entirely separate from the telecaster. Three way switching:: Postion one - no tone control, Position two - tone control engaged, Position three - strangle mod engaged - no tone. The idea is to set the tone control control to a mellow tone so switching gives three quite different tones and it is quite surprising how far you can get with this simple arrangement. This is the first guitar off the bench at the new Carrum Downs workshop.
