It doesn't get any more chic than a whiteguard tele, the true gentleman’s guitar.
The idea was not to slavishly recreate every detail of the original late 50's Whiteguards but to produce a guitar that had a similar look and tone but using hardware is vintage in style but definitely modern technology. Mick Brierleys' 52's duplicate the muscular snarl on the lead pickup and big warm honky tonk tone on the rhythm pickup that made the old Whiteguards so sought after in later years.

Carlton custom built instruments are made to exacting standards using top quality air dried tone-woods and the finest quality, industry standard hardware available.
